I was lucky to be a part of this unique project: the Babylon is a Berlin cinema specialised in silent film and mostly acompained by live music. They have several films to offer like Metropolis (
D 1927, R: Fritz Lang with Brigitte Helm, Alfred Abel) or Scarface (/w Al Pacino). Now they started a series of old western films with a lots of music written by Ennio Morricone.
For sure you will know one of his compositions like the most famous one
C’era una volta il West / Once upon a Time in the West (IT, USA, 1968, R: Sergio Leone mit Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson, Frank Wolff). Trailer: https://youtu.be/Yw-Av9BpC-w
So I was lucky to play the music with a 52 large orchestra and be a part of that prelude.
